What are E&D Herbs calendula drops

E&D Herbs calendula drops are a calendula flower (Calendula officinalis) liquid extract made in Moca, Puerto Rico. The bottle holds 1 oz (30 ml), about 42 servings of 0.7 ml, and the label calls it «Suplemento Herbario» (herbal supplement). Per the label, it is equivalent to about 140 mg of herbs per 0.7 ml (dry herb / menstruum 1:5) and it is made with cane alcohol, vegetable glycerin and distilled water.

In short: per the label, shake well and add one full dropper to 2 oz of water or juice, 2 to 4 times a day, between meals. If each dropper is one 0.7 ml serving, the bottle lasts 10 to 21 days, depending on how often you take it. It costs $15.00, about $0.36 per serving. Free shipping in Puerto Rico on orders from $35, or pick it up at our store in Galería Paseos.

    What are calendula drops for?

The bottle does not print a use for any part of the body: it presents them as «Suplemento Herbario» (herbal supplement), a liquid extract of the calendula flower to take in water or juice. What it does print is what they contain, how much is in the bottle and how to take them, and that is what we share here.

Are calendula drops the same as calendula oil or cream?

No. These drops are a liquid extract (tincture) of calendula flower in cane alcohol, vegetable glycerin and water, and the label says to take them in water or juice. The oil and the cream are different products. We carry them separately: Calendula Oil (Calendula officinalis), 1 oz and E&D Herbs Calendula Cream, 1 oz.
