What Menper Pomada de Sulpha is

Pomada de Sulpha is a «FIRST AID ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT», as the jar reads, for external use. The jar holds 2 oz (57 g). It is distributed by Menper Distributors, of Miami, Florida, the same company behind the Menper Sulpha powder.

It has one active ingredient: neomycin, 3.5 mg in each gram. Note the name: even though it says «Sulpha», it contains no sulfa. Neomycin comes as neomycin sulfate, and that «sulfate» is not a sulfa drug.

    What the label says

    • First aid to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns (on the label: first aid to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes, burns).
    • For external use only.

    Who it is for

    • To keep in the first aid kit at home, in the car or at work.
    • For everyday cuts and scrapes.
    • It is not for deep or puncture wounds, animal bites or serious burns without asking a doctor first.

    Frequently asked questions
